<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Auctioneers</span> <span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Bonhams &amp; Butterfields are still confident about finding a buyer and mentioned that they had expected the skeleton to go for about $6 million.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Other items at the auction sold -  including a duckbilled dinosaur that went for $458,000 and a 17-foot fossilized fish that went for $422,000.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">The auction will also feature approximately 50 lots of fossils in the first natural history event for this auction house.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Dubbed &#8220;Samson&#8221;, this Tyrannosaurus skeleton is 66 million years old. It was excavated near Buffalo, South Dakota approximately 15 years ago.</span></p>
<p>The skeleton is said to be more than 50% complete, making it the third most complete T Rex skeleton discovered.</p>
<p>&#8220;Samson&#8221; will be on public display, in the space formerly occuped by the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum,<span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"> </span>from September 18 to October 3, 2009.</p>

<p>According to the press release, Amazon intends to purchase the online shoe retailer for approximately 10 million share of Amazon common stock and $40 million in cash for an estimated purchase price of almost $850 million.</p>
<p>Jeff Bezos, Found and CEO of Amazon.com said, “We see great opportunities for both companies to learn from each other and create even better experiences for our customers.”</p>
<p>Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos, added, “We will continue to build the Zappos brand and culture in our own unique way, and we believe Amazon is the best partner to help us do this over the long term.” He further explained the sale/merger to employees in a <a title="CEO Letter to Zappos Employees" href="http://blogs.zappos.com/ceoletter" target="_blank">CEO letter</a> sent to employees by email and posted on their blog.</p>

<p>They have also applied for and received a conditional use permit from the City of Henderson that will allow the resort to hold outdoor events such as fireworks, festivals and more.</p>
<p>Their website also boasts an online employment application that lets perspective employees know exactly what information they’ll need to supply before they go to the application form. This lets people plan ahead to make sure they have all the information required available before filling out the application. A nice touch.</p>
