Pet Adoption

Henderson Animal Control reports that 100-200 pets are adopted from their shelter every month. However, between 600-700 pets enter the animal shelter each month.

Fortunately, some of these animals are lost and claimed by their owners. But there are many, many more that need a loving home.

If you are able to give a pet a loving home, that’s great! But remember – owning a pet is a long-term commitment. They will rely on you for their health and well being for the rest of their lives. Please don’t adopt a pet if you’re not able to make this kind of commitment.
