The Nevada Department of Transportation’s plan for the Boulder City Bypass has ruffled some feathers in the Henderson neighborhoods of River Mountain Ranch Estates and Old Vegas.
Residents fear that the bypass will dump unwanted traffic onto their streets, compromise community safety and lower property values.
Alth0ugh the original plan was presented in 2002, many of the residents’ homes were built after that, so they had no input into the original planning.
